Ven. Lama Tenzin Kalsang and Ven. Tenzin Gyurmey attended the auspicious inauguration ceremony conducted by His Holiness The Dalai Lama of a newly constructed Temple in Mysore at Zongkar Choede Monastery on December 16, 2004. Following the consecration, His Holiness bestowed the Yamantaka Initiation within the newly inaugurated Temple. As well, His Holiness gave five days of commentary on the Yamantaka Empowerment at Gyudmed Tantric College. We rejoice in our part of the newly built Temple at Zongkar Choede. Now Zongkar Choede Monastery ranks as one of the major Gelug-pa monasteries. Tengye Ling is a long-standing supporter of Teachers at Zongkar Choede Monastery.

Ven. Lama Namda Khentul Rinpoche is the permanent Abbot of His Holiness The Dalai Lama's personal monastery--Namgyal Monastery in Tibet and as well as in India. Tengye Ling has supported him for many years.
