On Sunday, May 30 1999 we had a WESAK Celebration at Tengye Ling. Gen-la read the story of Siddhartha, followed by the Shakyamuni Puja. The presence of Lord Shakyamuni Buddha was powerfully felt by everyone.
People brought a food offering to the celebration and after the puja we ate the food offerings outside on the backyard patio.
